We missed last week's walk (transect 2/26) because of unsuitable weather, but yesterday conditions were good even with a cool NE breeze. We were rewarded with a total of 62 butterflies from 6 species. Details as follows:- 33 Brimstone 12 Peacock 6 Orange Tip 6 Green Hairstreak 4 Speckled Wood 1 Small Tortoiseshell All recorded on BCT's website and my own annual figures chart.
