The task for Thursday is again at The Lagoon. We will complete the removal of the undesirable plant species, then undertake the removal of an amount of duck-weed from the Lagoon before it takes over the site. We will also do a bit of pond dipping to enhance our knowledge of the species base after one year from construction. Meet at the Holly Lane car park at 10:00hrs.
If you have a net capable of catching duck-weed, then please bring it! It may also be worthwhile bringing your cameras to try photographing the dragonflies/damselflies... |
